Focused
Inbox in Outlook Web Access (OWA) helps you manage your emails by
separating your inbox into two tabs—Focused and Other. Your most
important emails are on the Focused tab, while the rest remain easily
accessible on the Other tab. Follow these steps to enable or disable
Focused Inbox:
Open Your Web Browser: Launch your preferred web browser and go to the OWA login page. https://outlook.office.com
Sign In: Enter your email address and current password, then click "Sign In."
Access Settings: Once logged in, click on the gear icon (Settings) located at the top right corner of the page.
Enable or Disable Focused Inbox:
- Enable
Focused Inbox: In the Quick Settings pane, toggle the switch for
"Focused Inbox" to turn it on. Your inbox will now be divided into
Focused and Other tabs.
- Disable
Focused Inbox: If you want to turn off Focused Inbox, toggle the switch
for "Focused Inbox" to turn it off. All your emails will be displayed
in a single tab.
Move Emails Between Tabs:
- To
move an email from the Focused tab to the Other tab, right-click on the
email, select "Move to Other inbox," or choose "Always move to Other
inbox" if you want all future emails from that sender to be delivered to
the Other tab.
- To
move an email from the Other tab to the Focused tab, right-click on the
email, select "Move to Focused inbox," or choose "Always move to
Focused inbox" if you want all future emails from that sender to be
delivered to the Focused tab.
