Yealink VoIP desk phones are designed to provide a seamless and efficient communication experience. This guide covers the basic functionalities and features of Yealink VoIP desk phones to help you get started.
To make a call, simply pick up the handset and dial the number, then press the Send soft key or the # key. Alternatively, you can dial the number first and then pick up the handset or press the Speaker key to use the speakerphone. If you have a headset connected, you can press the Headset key and then dial the number.
When receiving a call, you can lift the handset to answer, press the Speaker key to answer using the speakerphone, or press the Headset key if you have a headset connected. If the call is ringing at another extension, you can use the Pickup feature to answer it.
To place a call on hold, press the Hold key. To resume the call, press the Resume soft key or the Hold key again.
There are three types of call transfers you can perform:
To initiate a conference call, press the Conference key during an active call. Dial the number of the second party and press Send. When the second party answers, press the Conference key again to join all parties in the conference.
To access your voicemail, press the Message key and follow the prompts to listen to your messages, record a greeting, or change your voicemail settings.
You can access your local directory by pressing the Directory soft key. From here, you can add, edit, or delete contacts. To add a new contact, select Add, enter the contact's name and number, and press Save.
To forward all calls, press the Menu soft key, navigate to Features, select Call Forward, and choose the type of forwarding (Always, Busy, No Answer). Enter the forwarding number and press Save.
To enable Do Not Disturb, press the DND soft key. This will prevent your phone from ringing and send all calls to voicemail. To disable DND, press the DND soft key again.
