Adding an External Number to a Yealink VoIP Phone's Local Directory

Adding external numbers to your Yealink VoIP phone's local directory can help streamline your communication process. Follow these steps to add a contact manually:

Using the Phone Interface

  1. Press the Directory soft key on your Yealink phone.
  2. Select Local Directory and press Enter.
  3. Choose All Contacts and press Add.
  4. Enter the contact's name using the dial pad.
  5. Scroll down and enter the contact's number using the dial pad.
  6. Press Add or OK to save the contact.

Adding from Call History

  1. Press the History button on your Yealink phone.
  2. Select the recent call you want to add and press the Option button.
  3. Choose Add to contact and press OK.
  4. Save the contact's name and number to your local directory by pressing Save.
