Transferring
calls on a Yealink desk phone is a straightforward process that can be
done using three different methods: Blind Transfer, Semi-Attended
Transfer, and Attended Transfer. Below are the steps for each method:
Blind Transfer
A blind transfer allows you to transfer a call directly to another party without consulting them first.
- During an active call, press the Transfer key or the Transfer soft key. The call will be placed on hold.
- Enter the number or select a contact from the directory to which you want to transfer the call.
- Press the Transfer key or the B Transfer soft key to complete the transfer.
Semi-Attended Transfer
A semi-attended transfer allows you to transfer a call when you hear the ringback tone.
- During an active call, press the Transfer key or the Transfer soft key. The call will be placed on hold.
- Enter the number you want to transfer the call to.
- Press Send.
- Press the Transfer key or the Transfer soft key when you hear the ringback tone.
Attended Transfer
An attended transfer allows you to consult with the receiving party before completing the transfer.
- During an active call, press the Transfer key or the Transfer soft key. The call will be placed on hold.
- Enter the number you want to transfer the call to.
- Press Send.
- After the receiving party answers the call, press the Transfer key or the Transfer soft key to complete the transfer.
